Kevin Sime is the President of K.S. Restorations and Home Improvements, Inc., an organization he founded in 2002. Kevin has more than 20 years of personal, hands-on experience in residential remodeling and his work includes kitchen and bathroom renovations including new additions and home extensions.
Kevin is also a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers as a surveyor and has been an integral team member on various improvement efforts including the Honeywell Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, and the Tri Borough Bridge deck replacement project. Kevin was also a key player in the building of the Air Train which runs from Jamaica Station to Kennedy Airport. Through his work with the union, Kevin has also worked with McNulty Steel in the construction of new buildings, schools and hospitals across the entire New York metropolitan area. He is Amtrak, OSHA, LIRR and MTA certified.
Kevin has also recently become certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst/Home Performance/Energy Auditor. He is a graduate of the Institute of Design and Construction where he learned data collection and blueprint reading. Kevin has also completed certification as a lead containment contractor.
Kevin is married, has one daughter and lives in Long Beach, NY.
